This check can be prepared at absolutely any occasion and can be served anywhere, not necessarily just in the morning with a coffee. You can also prepare it for the holidays, and even give it to a loved one on the occasion of the birthday. Surely your effort will be appreciated. Cut a few slices and serve them to your colleagues at work. You will be angry and will surely ask for this delicious cake recipe.

Ingredients

100 gr. Orlando’s figs
50 gr. Orlando’s pecan nuts
250 gr. flour
100 gr. melted and cooled butter
180 ml. beaten milk (you can also use quince)
100 gr. coconut sugar (you can use any sugar you want)
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 or
a pinch of salt

Preparation

The recipe is very versatile, and instead of figs you can use any other dehydrated fruits (apricots, blueberries, turmeric etc) or nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews etc) from Orlando’s range.

Here’s how to prepare:

In a large bowl put the beaten milk and sugar and mix well with a teaspoon. Add the melted and cooled butter, the egg and mix again.
In addition to these ingredients add baking powder, baking soda, salt tip and flour little by little, until the composition is homogenized.

Cut the pecans and pecans into smaller pieces and add them in the bowl over the rest of the ingredients. Mix the composition well with a spoon, then add the composition to a check tray covered with baking sheet.

Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180*C for 40 minutes. Test the toothpicks and see if the check is baked, otherwise leave about 5 minutes in the oven.

Remove from oven, allow to cool completely, then serve it with pleasure.

It can be served as a dessert when you crave something sweet or as a snack with coffee or tea. Bon appetite!
